Alene Candles Names Senior Director of Ohio Operations
Alene Candles, the nation’s leading full-service contract and private-label candle and home fragrance manufacturer, welcomes Casey Meyer as its new senior director of Ohio operations. Meyer will oversee all aspects of production and logistics at Alene’s facilities in New Albany’s Beauty Park.

Meyer has spent his career working in operations, continuous improvement and supply chain management, holding two degrees from Bowling Green State University. He most recently led plant operations for another Ohio manufacturer and has experience in the automotive and custom manufacturing industries.
While Meyer looks forward to adding value to and improving the production process, he’s most excited about being part of the Alene team. “Alene has a great product, but we’ve also got a great team. People are constantly congratulating and calling each other out for good things,” he says. “If we focus on building our people, they’ll help build the company. Together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.”
Alene, which is headquartered in Milford, New Hampshire, has invested significantly in its Ohio operations since 2012. The company has undergone two expansions in the Beauty Park to accommodate its production of candles and plug-in wall diffuser bulbs. As a dedicated member of Central Ohio, Alene also invests in its people and the communities where they live. The company was recognized earlier this year with a Pillar Award for Community Service by Smart Business and Medical Mutual of Ohio.
“Casey is a great fit for Alene and shares in our vision for the future,” says Alene President & CEO Raj Chary. “We’re all looking forward to the leadership and energy he brings to the team.”
